Candles and Flowers

candles and Flowers is a series of mixed media pieces that are inspired by the incredible resilience of the human spirit in the face of tragedy. In this ever shrinking global world, it becomes more and more clear how much we really have in common. Communities everywhere are responding to evil with an outpouring of strength, love and determination that, for me, is a continual reminder that love really is stronger than hate. A portion of proceeds from any sales of work related to this series will go to the Episcopal Relief and Development fund. The ERD is a non-profit that is dear to my heart and has a proven track record of good stewardship. The ERD responds to immediate and on-going needs locally and world wide.
